Cambridge Tech Week 2024

Cambridge Tech Week 2024 brings together world-leading experts, innovators and investors to fuel growth across the tech ecosystem, establishing Cambridge as a key place where global tech comes to meet.
Having played a leading role in founding and establishing the Cambridge technology cluster, creating more than 20 spinouts, three of which have been amongst Cambridge’s >$1 billion capitalisation companies, we are proud and excited to sponsor and lead activities across the week.
Monday 9 September – Welcome to Cambridge
Designed for visitors to Cambridge, the first day will offer a practical overview of the Cambridge ecosystem, its tech heritage and the collaboration potential. CC will be one of many companies to open its doors during the day, offering a tour of our facilities to enable delegates to experience first-hand how deep tech is shaping global innovation.

Tuesday 10 September – Innovation and Investor Day
Keynote – Seizing the opportunity of deep tech
Tim Fowler, Chief Commercial Officer, Cambridge Consultants, will explore how the Cambridge ecosystem can seize the opportunity of its deep technology expertise to accelerate the impact of innovation and radically improve the future.

Innovation Alley Showcase
Innovation Alley will play home to 50 of the brightest early-stage companies, 10 scale-ups, and four larger tech companies, all offering a dynamic and interactive showcase of their solutions. Corporate Innovation Summit
As an invitation-only event for senior innovators in large corporates, the Corporate Innovators Summit provides a peer-to-peer networking opportunity to discusses the planning, strategy and the practical application of deep tech in the corporate environment. Delegates will get the chance to build relationships, swap ideas and gain insights from experts adept at turning deep tech into world-first technologies, services and products.

Our semiconductor and climate tech experts will be at the event, sharing insights in both the networking sessions and on the main conference agenda.
Panel – Scaling Climate Tech – How to accelerate deep tech solutions to market, realising business value and delivering transformative positive impact

The climate tech start-up scene is dominated by exciting early-stage companies with a vast variety of technology solutions dedicated to mitigating the climate crisis. Yet only a handful of companies break through to make it to scale and realise impact. Financing and delivering first-of-a-kind (FOAK) demonstrations of these technologies is a major obstacle for hardware-intensive start-ups. Join Catherine Joce as she chairs an exciting discussion on the barriers climate tech start-ups face and explores opportunities to accelerate their journey to the holy grail of post-FOAK.
