Ian is an experienced and innovative technical project leader with broad expertise and >20-year history of engineering biology using molecular, enzyme and microbial technology for the biomanufacture of pharmaceutical intermediates, industrial enzymes and therapeutic peptides.

Since joining Cambridge Consultants in 2019 Ian has been involved in the development of next generation manufacturing technology platforms for DNA data storage, bioremediation of plastics and the development of several next generation manufacturing platforms for autologous cell therapies.  His role includes providing consultancy and technical due diligence of third-party technology providers for investors, start-ups, Government and multinational biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
